HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB® launches Charity Bibs
Interested participants can purchase one of the 45 available Charity Bibs for the event’s three main distances: CDH, PDA, and EXP.
The funds raised will be donated to two local non-profit organizations selected by HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB®. This year, the chosen entities are:
ADDA, the Association for People with Disabilities of Aran, which supports individuals with intellectual disabilities of working age who, due to their specific needs, cannot access employment contracts. ADDA currently serves users from Val d'Aran and Alta Ribagorça. Since the first edition of the event, they have actively contributed by preparing race markings, signage throughout the valley, and crafting magnets and trophy plaques for the winners.
Càritas d’Urgell – Centre Val d’Aran, an organization dedicated to promoting, guiding, and coordinating social and charitable actions in the Diocese of Urgell, particularly in Val d’Aran. Their projects focus on children and youth, elderly care, homelessness, employment programs, social assistance, and social and solidarity-based economy initiatives.
Associació contra el Càncer a Lleida, an association that organizes annual summer camps in Val d’Aran for children affected by cancer or with family members undergoing oncological treatment. Around 75 children aged 6 to 15 from all over Spain participate, along with a WorkCamp program for teenagers aged 15 to 17, accommodating 20 young participants.
Donations are managed by UTMB® Cares, a non-profit foundation created by the UTMB® Group. This global initiative aims to unite the trail running community to drive positive social and environmental change in race destinations worldwide. Grounded in values of solidarity, respect, inclusion, authenticity, and humility, UTMB® Cares leverages the UTMB® World Series platform to support local communities, with a focus on three key pillars: people, the environment, and communities.
