No, in this edition we do not ask for a medical certificate.
Yes, you can have it yourself or purchase the one offered by the organisation, but it must comply with the requirements of the Registration Conditions appendix:
*Every participant must compulsorily be in possession of an individual accident insurance that covers the costs of rescue and evacuation in the mountains, in Spanish and French territory up to at least 3,000 metres above sea level, as well as the probable costs of hospitalisation. The insurance must cover the practice of trail running and participation in long distance races in the mountains. The insurance can be taken out by any organisation, federation or insurance company of the participant's choice. However, the organisation offers runners who have not taken out the appropriate insurance, or who wish to extend their cover, the possibility of taking out one at the time of registration. Highly recommended for all runners. When collecting the race bib, runners will be asked to check the validity of their insurance policy by presenting the corresponding card or supporting document.
No, currently it is no longer possible to change distance because all races are closed.
Yes. However, refunds are only available for runners who have purchased the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, provided that the reason for cancellation is covered by the conditions set out in the appendix Conditions of registration.
You are allowed to transfer your registration up to 1 month before (31 May) the race to another runner as long as this runner also fulfils the above mentioned requirements for that race. Transfers are only allowed within the same race. The initial registration will not be refunded and the new runner will have to pay an additional fee of 20€ + 8% administration fee. Only the registration fee is transferred, other purchases such as accident insurance, voluntary contributions, transport tickets, etc., are not refunded or transferred. WE RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT until you receive the transfer confirmation email sent from the registration platform.
To proceed with the transfer:
-if you have taken out cancellation insurance, you must send an e-mail to valdaran@service.utmb.world requesting the transfer. This e-mail will be answered with a form to formalise the transfer, where you will have to indicate the details of the beneficiary of the transfer.
-If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, you can make the transfer yourself to another broker from your control panel (you will find a window at the bottom of the dashboard).
