QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Registration with a charity bib is subject to the same rules and conditions as normal registration (registration fees, cancellation, regulations, etc.).
Look REGULATIONS
We have 30 charity bibs available for the 2024 event.
- 10 charity bibs VDA (100M)
- 10 charity bibs CDH (100K)
- 10 charity bibs PDA (50K)
Registrations for charity bibs will be made in order of registration and will remain open until the available charity bibs are sold out, or until 23:59 on Thursday 30 may 2024. There will be no waiting list.
The amount of the donation for a charity bib is 500 euros + the amount of the bib. Your donation of 500 euros will be given to the UTMB Cares endowment fund, which will be donated to one of our chosen charities: ADDA and CÁRITAS d'URGELL - Centre Val d'Aran.
REMEMBER: the amount of the donation is independent of the amount of the race bib.
You can register by clicking on the charity bib registration button below. Make sure you are logged in to your MyUTMB account.
Once on the registration page, select the distance you wish to participate in (VDA, CDH or PDA) and make your donation. You will then receive a confirmation email with information to finalise your registration and secure your place in HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB®.
By registering with a charity bib, you accept that your contact details (email and telephone number) will be shared with the 3 organisations. In this way, they will be able to contact you to thank you.
The funds raised will go to two local non-profit organisations selected by HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB®. The funds will be collected by the UTMB® Cares Foundation, a charitable foundation created by the UTMB® Group and incorporated in France under French law. At least 75% of the total amount raised will go to the selected charities, with the rest being used to support the global programmes of the UTMB® Cares Foundation in the rest of the world and to cover administrative costs.
After the donation, participants must pay the registration fee for the chosen competition (either VDA - 100M, CDH - 100K, or PDA 50K) to complete the Solidarity Bib process.
No, the donation and registration fees are separate. You will need to pay for your registration fee after you have made the donation.
UTMB Cares is registered in France. Therefore, only French taxable persons can benefit from a tax deduction. A receipt will be sent to eligible participants.
Registrations with a charity bib follow the same cancellation rules as for registrations.
If you have taken out cancellation insurance during your registration, and depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be entitled to a full refund of your registration fee.
If you have not taken out cancellation insurance during your registration, no refund will be possible.
IMPORTANT: Donation and registration fees are separate. Therefore, donations are not refundable.
A donation is non-refundable.
If you can no longer attend HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB®, you must follow the conditions of registration and cancel your registration in your MyUTMB account.
Runners can make a donation through UTMB Cares even if they do not wish to run. The donation link can be found on the UTMB Cares page here: UTMB Cares.
