ADDA - Aran Association for the Disabled
In HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB® we love to have the best people around us. That is why we collaborate with ADDA, the Aran Association for the Disabled, who are in charge of preparing the marking of the event and part of the trophies.
In the three editions of HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB®, different tasks have been carried out during the months leading up to the races: tasks related to the marking of the routes, such as the preparation of the ribbons and the markers which will be distributed throughout the valley; and other more as the creation of magnets and trophy plaques for the winners which require attention and precision.
NO tee - ONE tree
UTMB® Iberia is committed to the recovery of the mountains of Tenerife.
Through the NO tee - ONE tree campaign, the runners of HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB® and Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® can renounce their technical t-shirt and donate this amount to the Tenerife Renace initiative. In this way, UTMB® Iberia will double the donation of the runners for the Tenerife Renace cause, an initiative of the Foresta Foundation and the Cabildo Insular with which environmental restoration actions are planned in the areas affected by the forest fire which started in Tenerife in mid-August 2023.
Last summer the island of Tenerife suffered the worst fire in the Canary Islands in the last 40 years. The flames started on the night of 15 August in the highlands of the municipality of Arafo and eventually affected a perimeter of more than 90 kilometres. Almost 15,000 hectares were razed to the ground and more than 12,000 people had to be evacuated.
From UTMB® Iberia we want to collaborate with the recovery of the mountains of Tenerife. For this reason, we have launched the NO tee - ONE tree campaign by which the runners of HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB® and Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® at the time of registration, each runner has the opportunity to renounce their technical t-shirt and donate this amount to the Tenerife Renace initiative.
ASSOCIATION AGAINST CANCER
