At HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB®, we are committed to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. That’s why in 2023, we designed a collective mobility plan to facilitate transportation throughout the Val d’Aran. Thanks to this shared transport initiative, in 2024 we significantly reduced the event’s carbon footprint. With 18 buses, we were able to avoid the circulation of up to 2,400 cars, transporting 8,800 people, including runners and supporters. This collective effort allowed us to reduce 4.90 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, proving that a large-scale event can also be environmentally responsible. In 2025, enhanced measures will be in place to limit the use of private vehicles and promote collective transportation.
At HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB® we are committed to preserving our environment and reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible. For this reason, each year we set up a mobility plan which provides a collective solution to facilitate getting around the whole of the Val d’Aran.
The UTMB-Pass is the transport ticket valid for access to the bus lines which will be at your disposal during the event:
• The Val d’Aran public transport service (Intervalle service).
• The organisation’s buses: UTMB-Bus.
• The Mountain Shuttles (the shuttles that connect with Artiga de Lin, Banhs de Tredòs, and Beret)
